Some thoughts and discussions from me.

top 5

Hi loves! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday – and are still enjoying it. New Years is right around the corner!

You still have a few days to sign up for RESOLVE to really start off 2015 with a bang, and be fully equipped to make some serious progress on those goals of yours. Speaking of goals, I talked a bit about setting big, scary, lofty goals on my Instagram page yesterday – make sure to check it out here!

RESOLVE

Wow, 2015. I remember in 2012 when I still worked at an office (and moonlighted as a trainer!) I thought 2015 sounded SO far away. We were always discussing “2015 Strategies,” which at the time seemed like a place where time would never reach and unicorns ran rampant. And now, all of the sudden it’s here! Time has a funny way of sneaking up on us, doesn’t it?

This year was one for the books, and I really had a great time sharing my workouts with you on the blog. The other day I was checking out some analytics on Pinterest and my blog, and took a look at which workouts you all liked best. It’s funny, because some of them are the ones I liked the best, too! Great minds 😉

I love working with kettlebells SO much – and apparently you do, too! This is one of the only KB workouts I shared this year. Expect more in 2015! 🙂

Another type of workout I’d like to share more of – upper body workouts! I myself like to train legs and glutes more than upper body, so I tend to share lower body or full body workouts. I really had fun with this one though, and I also love training with resistance bands. Would you like to see more workouts with bands?

3. Freaky Fast Fat-Burning Circuit

You guys love your no-equipment required workouts, and I can’t say I blame ya! I love putting great bodyweight workouts in my back pocket, and taking them out when I need them. While in Florida over Christmas, I did quite a few bodyweight workouts. I’m also always posting no-equipment workouts on my Instagram page, so check that out if you’re a fan of moving without the heavy metal.

2. Full Body Dumbbell Circuit Workout

This workout will be perfect for your workouts after the New Year, when gyms tend to be crowded. It can be such a hassle trying to move from one piece of equipment to the next, then to find out someone’s taken it before you get a chance to complete your sets. With this workout, you and your dumbbell can get cozy in a little corner of the gym and get your burn on!

And the number 1 pinnable workout of 2014 is….

1. 30 Minute No-Equipment Bodyweight HIIT Workout

Ahh, just looking back at this workout makes me miss exercising outdoors! This one works it ALL – upper body, lower body, booty, abs, heart. You name it, you’ll work it – in only 30 minutes!

And there you have it! My top 5 workouts to pin and sweat to in 2014. Hopefully this will also be helpful in that they’re all in one place now. Now you won’t have to click all over to find a workout to do. Plus, they’re all surprisingly different – with different equipment (or lack thereof,) exercises, and intensities 🙂

I want to hear from you!

What kind of workouts would you like to see more of in 2015?

What was your favorite workout this year?
