I love helping people learn how to live a healthier, happier life through exercise and nutrition.
In my 4+ years of experience, I’ve worked with clients of all ages and all fitness levels – from youth to seniors and novices to athletes. It’s my goal to help my clients see transformations in their health and bodies. As a trainer, I focus on creating safe, effective, and challenging programs that will leave my clients looking forward to their next workout. I utilize functional training, using free weights, balls, TRX, kettlebells, and bodyweight to help my clients achieve their goals.
I carefully create your training program by using three things: my knowledge and education on how exercise and nutrition affect the body, your personal information that I obtain from you, and my experience as a trainer, seeing what works for some people and what works for others.
What’s Online Personal Training All About?
In order to live your healthiest life and get in the best shape ever, you must be willing to commit to three factors: resistance training, cardiovascular training, and nutrition. My programs consist of all three parts of this combination.
Whether you choose my online programs or 1-on-1 PT sessions, I’ll write a workout program consisting of progressive resistance training workouts. Resistance training is the most important part of getting fit. Resistance training not only builds lean muscle mass to get that strong, toned look, but it also increases your metabolism. Additionally you burn twice as many calories after an intense strength workout as you do after an intense cardio workout.
In addition to your resistance training, I’ll also assign you cardio workouts to complete on your own. These workouts will give you all of the cardiovascular benefits such as lowering blood pressure, decreased risk for cardiovascular disease, increase insulin sensitivity, etc.
Diet plays a huge part in health – and not just for weight loss purposes. It’s crucial to eat a healthy diet that will support your resistance and cardio training. In order to get an idea of your current diet, I’ll have you keep a meal log – at least for a couple weeks – so that I can properly coach you to eat meals and foods that will leave you feeling energized and healthy! Additionally, I’lll make it simple with a meal plan template and meal and snack suggestions, as well as a grocery list.
With online personal training, you have two options:
1-on-1 PT Sessions
- 45 minute 1-on-1 personal training sessions via facetime or skype
- nutrition guidelines and templates
- prescribed cardio workouts to do on your own
- weekly check-ins for progress, questions, nutrition and cardio follow up
Written Personal Training Programs
- A customized, workout program including strength, cardio, and mobility based on your goals and situation. you’ll do all the sessions/workouts on your own
- Demo’s of each exercise, in assurance that you fully understand the program, workout format, and exercise form
- Weekly check-ins with me for progress, questions, nutrition and cardio follow up
