Hi friends!

I thought I’d check in this weekend since I haven’t posted since last Wednesday. What have you all been up to?! Get any fun workouts in? Eat any delicious and nutritious food? Go on any exciting adventures??

I’m actually in Illinois right now for my big brother’s wedding. We got in on Thursday night, and it’s been a whirlwind of seeing as many loved ones as we possibly can before we leave on Tuesday. We literally get to every person that was on our list, and I just love that. Who knows the next time we’ll be back in Illinois!

Shane took this picture of me, and then said, capture this photo. My caption? We’re not in Colorado anymore! Hashtag corncountry I also definitely noticed the wind, humidity, and chill in the air!

It’s SO great to see all of our loved ones, but it also feels delightful to have Colorado to come back home to. I always tell people who have made a cross country move that the telling factor that you made the right choice is whether you miss it when you travel. I definitely miss those mountains when I travel!

Well, that is if I make it back to Colorado…

I had a pretty crappy day of travel on Thursday, with a delayed flight and something that I can NOT believe I did: I forgot my ID on the plane!! Shane and I ordered an on-flight cocktail, and I slid my ID in the pocket in front of me in case I got carded. Then I proceeded to deplane, leaving my license on the plane. Hashtag travel fail. I’m kind of freaking out about how I’ll be able to fly back home to my beloved Colorado…but I suppose I’ll let future Paige worry about that little situation.

For now, the wedding was just lovely, and I was so happy to stand up for my big bro’s wedding.

Since we’re traveling, workouts have been a little different this week:

Monday: Full Body Lifting workout + lots of walking + my first volleyball game in my new league (we won all 3 games – what whaaat! Winking smile)

Tuesday: Teach spin, lots of walking

I thought I’d share my weekly workout playlist, which is also my spinning and TRX playlist this week, which jams out to Meghan Trainor, Jessie J, Becky G,  Kieza, Disclosure, and more!

Wednesday: 4.5 mile trail run

Thursday: Full Body lifting workout

Friday: 10 minutes of hill sprints on the treadmill, followed by this quickie hotel workout that I posted on Facebook and Instagram:

Saturday: This 4,3,2,1 treadmill workout and some ab work

Sunday (today:) OFF, and I hope to get in a long walk

I kind of loved working out in the hotel gym on Friday.

I feel great about workouts this week, but I’m sure I’ll be itching to get back to the gym and under a barbell when I get back home on Wednesday. Today’s our last day at the hotel, and then we’re staying at friends and family’s houses, so I’m guessing workouts either won’t happen, or will be some sprints or bodyweight stuff outside. NBD. My main concern is enjoying the moment with family and friends Smile

Travel fails: what’s your biggest one?? This one def takes the cake for me.
