Some thoughts and discussions from me.

Rabbit Mountain, Longmont, CO

1. My parents’ being in town! Shane and I live in a little urban development community, and we also live in a little condo. It’s got 2 bedrooms, but it’s been proven time and time again that it’s just way too cramped to have guests stay for any duration of time longer than a couple days. We lucked out with some neighbors of ours who are away from home at the same time, and this week my parents are staying right down the street from us! It’s super convenient.

2. I totally put together a TRX workout post for you guys to share this week, but realized last night I never posted it! I promise you a full body butt-kicking TRX workout next week Winking smile

3. The Nutrition Component of YTP Boot Camp. I had everything ready to go to send out this afternoon for boot camp – up until yesterday afternoon. Until then, the nutrition component was general guidelines for everyone. Yesterday, I had a free few hours, so I added a completely new section for those with goals of Weight Loss and Fat Loss. I wrote my little heart out, pouring out knowledge and tools that will help any participants with those goals. I hope it’s helpful!

4. Eating out and/or getting take out every single meal this week – including last night’s fried chicken feast from Post.image

OK, so if this continued for another week, I might not like it so much due to my pants not fitting – haha! It’s a good thing boot camp starts next week Winking smile

5. This glute workout on Sierra Trading Post. I’m a regular contributor over there, and I give a fitness-flare. You can also check out my 20-minute full body workout, and 5 core exercises to take your adventuring to the next level!

6. Wild Flowers are STILL in bloom because of the amount of rain we got this season (and snow from last season.) I snapped the picture at the top of this post on Wednesday’s hike – which is in the foothills by me! – and wildflowers are still a-bloom. I love it.

7.  Grass-fed Buffalo Milk yogurt from Annabella Creamery – say what?!

You heard me right. It’s locally made here in Boulder County – actually from a member of the gym that I train at. And it. is. delicious. It basically tastes like a combination between ricotta and greek yogurt. Yum.

8. Sons of Anarchy premiered this week!

I still haven’t watched it, since my parents are in town, but it will be a nice distraction for me when they head back.

9. Sunny, warm weather!

image

The past couple of days have been rainy and cold – not what we’re used to here in Colorado. Instead of wining about it, I’m just looking forward to tomorrow and Sunday when it will be sunny and warm again Smile And at least it’s not snowing like it is in Canada right now!! Eep!

Happy weekend – cheers!
