Some thoughts and discussions from me.

Good morning Sun

When I get on a kick, it’s a full fledged obsession. Hot yoga, listening to podcasts, protein pancakes, and hiking are just some of my most recent obsessions. My most current obsession?

Nuttzo. I’ll say it – I’m nuts about Nuttzo!

A while back, I received a jar of the original creamy flavor as part of a campaign through my Fitfluential ambassadorship. Once I opened the jar, it didn’t stand a chance. In fact, I think it lasted all of 5 days in the fridge!

I love NuttZo for several main reasons:

  • The taste (duh)
  • The sugar, or lack of it (just 1 gram per serving!)
  • The protein – with a whopping 7 grams per serving!
  • The (new) glass jars it comes in
  • The nutrient content

About that last bullet point – the nutrient value.

Did you know that you get 50% of your daily omega 3 recommendations in ONE spoonful of Nuttzo. That’s nuts.

Aside from eating it straight from the jar, here are some of my favorite ways to enjoy it:

Mixed with cottage cheese and peaches and topped on a flapJacked waffles

Mixed with Fage Total Greek yogurt and hemp hearts

On top of oatmeal

Mixed with cottage cheese and strawberries, on top of banana flapJacked protein pancakes…

And yes, cottage cheese + Nuttzo + a fruit is a fabulous combination for topping or eating alone.

The flavor I was given was the original creamy, which includes peanuts, along with 6 others nuts and seeds! I hadn’t been eating peanut butter at all recently, and I almost forgot how much I enjoy it. The only downside about Nuttzo is that it’s a bit pricier. This jar costs $12.99 at most Whole Foods. However, with no added oils, sugars, or preservatives, and the powerhouse of nutritional stats, I think that can be justified Winking smile

What’s your favorite type of nut butter?
