Some thoughts and discussions from me.

Hi there Open-mouthed smile

I hope your week is starting off swimmingly. Mine’s going pretty good! Trained a few clients yesterday (including a new one, yay!) and working lots with online clients. I know July is usually a slow month in the PT world, but it seems many are motivated! I always say that my clients, especially those who are motivated motivate me, and it’s true?

What’s not motivating me? The fact that I tweaked my back big time in a yoga class on Sunday. I was playing it easy, but the instructor came over and kind of pushed me into a pose (trying to help, of course,) which was horrible for my back. Now I think I’m out for a few days. So much for 30 days of yoga.

Ouch. Even thinking about doing that right now makes me cringe.

Anyway, enough complaining by me. Let’s talk PANCAKES! Open-mouthed smile So, by now you should know that I have an affinity for flapJacked Protein Pancakes. I’ve professed my love for them on the blog (and even insta-videos eating them on Instagram!) and yesterday I let ya’ll know that now I’ll be working for them as well.

The thing is, for now the only place you can buy them yourself is on their website, and soon in a few grocery chains along the front range (in Colorado.)

So how about a flapJacked giveaway?

First a quick little run down of my favorite nutritional stats:

  • Made with non-gmo ingredients
  • Contains the highest quality whey isolate protein powder
  • Contains coconut, quinoa, and oat flour as the flour base
  • No artificial ingredients whatsoever
  • Contains 9 or less grams of sugar per serving
  • No added sugar!
  • Between 180-200 calories per serving

Pretty impressive, right? But seriously you guys, the taste is even more impressive.

There are three flavors – buttermilk, cinnamon apple, and banana hazelnut. Banana Hazelnut is my favorite, but they’re all delicious. Here’s a closer peek at their individual stats:

I should also add that although they’re not certified gluten-free, they are made with coconut flour, oat flour, and quinoa flour (no wheat flour.) For what it’s worth, ya’ll know I have some issues with gluten, and I basically eat these pancakes every day without any problems.

The winner will receive 3 12-ounce bags of the pancake mix – one of each flavor.
