Looking Forward Survey
Thanks for the sweet comments from yesterday’s post. I’m so happy to hear it helped some of you guys look at some situations differently, too!
Going along the lines of being positive and having a good perspective, I thought we’d keep things a little lighter around here today – with a survey!
Looking Forward Survey
What can I say? I love my surveys. But more than coming up with answers, I like making up the questions! Last time I did the “last chance” survey, so this time I thought I’d go in the opposite direction. Since it’s Friday and we’re on the positive vibe, let’s do a little “looking forward” survey, shall we?
1. What you’re looking forward to in the next couple hours:
Drinking my morning cup of coffee. Every single morning I look forward to my morning cup of joe, and today I had plenty to choose from!
I went with Southern Pecan
2. Who you’re looking forward to seeing?
My BFF’s, when we can all see each other again in December!
Best gals ever.
3. Which meal you’re looking forward to eating?
A Colorado grass-fed steak!
Mmm. I haven’t eaten steak since the last time we went there!
4. Workout you’re looking forward to doing?
Leg day today! I’m doing my second leg workout of the week, and then a 30 minute elliptical workout to flush out the legs and prevent DOMS.
5. What you’re looking forward to this weekend?
Hiking up this lil’ hill:
And seeing this little garden:
6. Show you’re looking forward to watching:
Right now our line up includes: Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead, Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family, New Girl, and Friday Night Lights. The one I look forward to most?
Dexter! It’s GOOD again this season
7. Recipe you’re looking forward to making?
As soon as we get back from Colorado, I’m going to the grocery store and picking up some Brussels sprouts so I can make this:
8. What you’re looking forward to most for the holidays?
I’m going to have to cheat on my own survey and answer this one with more than one answer – holiday baking, holiday parties, and going to Florida to spend Christmas!
It will be incredibly weird to spend Christmas anywhere but home, but I’m so excited to spend it in the sand instead of the snow. Snow’s overrated (coming from an Illinoisan )
9. Thanksgiving dish you’re looking forward to eating?
Well, my family is having a fish fry for Thanksgiving this year, but one way or another, I’m getting my hands on some pumpkin pie.
10. A goal you’re looking forward to achieving?
Unassisted pull ups!
It’s still my goal to be achieve this by the end of fall, so I’ve got a few weeks left (link to that workout if interested!)
Your turn: what’s one thing you’re looking forward to in the next couple hours?
