Online Personal Training Program Giveaway {Reader Appreciation}

So I’ve declared today as get ish done day. You know those items that have been on your to-do list for weeks but still haven’t gotten done? Please tell me you know what I’m talking about. Those nagging to-do’s that are just hanging over your head? Well I’ve got a few of ‘em, and plan to tackle them all – or at least make a decent sized dent in them – today.

image

I even made a list! Hopefully I’ll be able to plow through it today in between client sessions and client programs.

Speaking of client programs…

A lot of you know that over the past few months, I’ve completely re-hauled my blog. Ever since June, not only my blog, but my way of thinking about my blog, my posts, my blog friends, and my readers has changed – for the better (in my opinion. I hope you agree, too!)

image

Fun fact: (not so fun?) before coming to the decision that I was going to re-haul my blog (decided on the car ride home from CO) I actually thought I had decided that I was going to stop blogging altogetherduring our Colorado trip (I told ya those mountains changed me!) I’m so glad I came to my sense on the car ride home and decided to just give it a little makeover instead of just quitting (thanks to the help of the talented Rita.)

Anywho. Today I’m feeling especially grateful for those who have continued to stop by and read – and for my newer visitors, and I wanted to do a little something to show you my gratuity. What better way than a giveaway?

Part of my blog re-haul entailed combining my old personal training professional website with my personal blog, through my new personal training services page.

image

You can learn more about it here, but basically, I sign up clients and then present them with:

  • Week-by-week workouts, progressing depending on fitness/skill level
  • Detailed instructions, schedules, and demo’s – including many that I’ve filmed myself and uploaded to youtube specifically for my online clients
  • Weekly tips and check-ins
  • Workout calendars, cardio workouts, and strength workouts

I also offer nutritional consulting, in the form of a customized meal plan including guidelines and tips, grocery lists, sample meal menus, and a meal template geared toward the clients’ goals. And if they choose to do both, then I base the meals and meal template around his or her workouts.

I was born and raised there but moved to Texas a year ago because of my husbands job :( . In the past year I’ve lost 30 pounds and just signed up for my first half marathon AND my first triathlon in the before the end of the year. 56. Its really amazing what you’ve been able to put together, your new site is so user-friendly, and full of helpful posts!

I am struggling at the moment with what I want my current fitness goal to be! I am an avid runner, currently sidelined with a foot injury, which has completely turned my training schedule upside down, since all the cross training, strength training, etc. that I was doing was to support my running. I am hoping to start doing triathlons next spring, since I already swim and bike, but I’m not really sure how to structure my core training and strength/ recovery plan.

  57. This is a great giveaway! One of my goals is to change things up a little bit with my workout routine!

  69. stephanie*s says:

My fitness goal is to get healthy. I have slacked off for about a year now (since getting married) and Ive gained like 20-25lbs. Its awful. I am just now getting my workout mojo back but its frustrating because I cant just jump into my workouts like I used too.

  70. I want to tone my thighs and core!

  71. I want to lose 30 by my 30th! I spent my 20s being 25ish pound overweight (thanks college) and I’m ready to lose! The only problem is I don’t know too much about nutrition and all I know about working out is burn more than you eat so I pretty much do the elliptical or take a class at my gym. I want to learn the correct technique for moves and what they target so that I can do them on my own!

  72. One of my current fitness goals is to run 10km without taking breaks! I was up to 10km a while ago but it didn’t last long and I had to take walking breaks.

  73. I want to be able to do 5 unassisted pull ups in a row!

  74. And I liked your FB page!

  75. I definitely want to work on my abs and my arms. I need to really focus on the abs region more in my workouts and maybe start taking pilates classes again.

  85. Right now my main fitness goal is to get in my best physical condition by including a variety in my exercise routine and monitoring my eating habits more closely.
