I wish these were my “cube mates” every Friday!!
Destiny took the train into town to stay with us so she could ride along with us to the funeral on Thursday. Lucky me, because that meant 2 nights of BFF time 
Yesterday was a really fun day, even though we didn’t really do anything at all. Isn’t that how you know when you have a good friend? When you don’t actually have to be doing anything to have a blast?
Well, we did eventually run some errands. There was serious business to get done in Target.

And Destiny also had her eyes set on getting froyo, so we stopped at Chill Out, the one and only froyo place in town.
We both had a little work to do, so after froyo, we picked up some lunch and headed home to our respective laptop lunches.
Crustless quiche with goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes, alongside some butternut squash, apple, and fennel salad from The Garlic Press, which could be my newest favorite lunch spot in town, upon discovering it only last weekend.
Melt in mah mouth.
Unfortunately, a bit later Destiny’s ride came, and we had to depart…always a sad time!
I wasn’t feeling too great yesterday afternoon, for some reason – shaky and headachey – so after Destiny left, I suggested to Shane we stay home and chill. He agreed, and, best part, cooked for me!
On the grill, of course. First he cooked a salmon fillet, and then topped it on a barbeque flat bread pizza. With roasted veggies. Yum!
Today
Ironically, Shane and I are headed to around Destiny’s stomping grounds today – not to visit – but to shop! Of course, whenever we drive around those parts, I have a very special couple of places I like to stop at as well 
Since we’ve got a full day planned, I also planned my rest day around today. The past couple days have been killer workouts (spin on Wednesday, HIIT on Thursday, full body weights on Friday) so my body could use a little R&R anyway.
Another way to accommodate for a full day?
breakfast on the go! Yet another mocha frapp protein shake (I.am.addicted.) Plus an Orange Melon Starbucks Refresher for Shane.

I grill year round! Well, my dad does. Yes, even in the winter. The poor guy!
The grilled pizza with bbq salmon sounds to die for. And your lunch, OMG! Food envy. I need to try grilling pizza. We always do it in the oven on a stone.
Aww, haha – there have been maybe a couple times that Shane’s braved the snow for the grill!
With this amazing weather, we’ve grilled much more than we normally have by this point in the year! I think my dad is grilling again tonight
