Between getting home late last night and having a busy morning this morning, I was slacking in the lunch packing preparation.
What to do when I only had 5 minutes to go from in house to in car?
I also packed a couple pieces of leftover pizza in case the smoothie isn’t enough.
Wrapped in tinfoil and packed by ice:
Just the standard smoothie formula: liquid>protein powder>spinach>frozen fruit>ice – Delish as always.
I definitely got a couple weird looks from co-workers and even someone who asked if I was drinking sludge while sipping on my smoothie throughout the lunch hour today. However, I’ve learned not to let comments like that bother me, and by now most of my co-workers know my smoothies and not so normal lunches ![]()
Speaking of being abnormal…
If you guys have been reading this blog longer than a day, you’ve probably realized by now that I have some quirks. My mom says I’m special. So that’s the adjective I like to use ![]()
Anyway, during my post-workout Niko walk this morning, my mind began to put my day from start to finish into one syllable verbs. I forgot my ear phones, so these random thoughts are what I’m left with.
Here’s what I came up with:
blog>lift>walk>eat>blog>train>pamper>prep>work>train>cook
That pretty much sums up most of my week days! I mean, exchange lift for run some days, and maybe every once in a while add dine (out) where cook is, but that’s basically it! Is it sad that my entire life Monday-Friday can more or less be explained in 10 verbs or less?
heh, I told you I was special.
And one more, less random, more cohesive thought: Today’s leap day. That means the next time we’ll get to live February 29th will be in 2016. I say might as well make today a memorable one and give it our all since we won’t see it again for another four years ![]()
Anyway, back to that 9th verb. Have a good one!
How would you sum up your day today in one syllable verbs?

hah! i love this! ummm sleep>pee>shower>juice>work>eat>gym>eat>sleep>repeat.. oh, and let me add NEVER POOP!
Aww Janetha!
Mine would be…
sleep>shower>coffee>bus>work>eat>work>lunch>work>bus>drive>gym>drive>dinner>cuddle
Oh totally fun…
water>eat>lift>sweat>shower>eat>class>eat>class>eat>work>eat>sleep
other days there is a little >social> or >shopping> in there!
wake > cook > eat > tv > blog > commute > class > workout > groceries > eat > class > errands > eat > tv > study > study > eat > study > sleep.
This is SUCH a good idea for distracting yourself during a run! I will be doing this next time my ipod dies mid run
Here I go…
brush/drink/eat/watch/read/post/dress/run/drive/talk/plank/stretch
Somehow, I’m now feeling like I waste a lot of time. Oh well =)
Hi there! I’m a new reader, found you through fitfluential. I live in C-U! And I also have a dog and a cat! And a husband! I totally hear you on the stigma of being health conscious, especially here in the Midwest.
Hi Jenna
Thanks for commenting! I haven’t been to C-U since the half mary in May. Hope to be there again for it this year
Oh, and I had fun coming up with:
snooze>feed (animals)>pee>workout>shower>eat>tv>work>eat>work>eat>feed>eat>train (dog)>clean (house)>tv>eat>sleep
There’s a lot of eat in there! But that’s what BFL will do to you!
Today was not a good one to describe…
sleep>pee>workout>blog>shower>drive>cook>drive>work>drive>eat>drive>eat>work>eat>work>drive>eat>blog>chill>sleep…and repeat.
Today was obnoxious. Coaching clients is fun, but I need to simplify this whole process!
run>eat>blog>shower>class>work>cook>homework>sleep
haha sleep. wake. workout. eat. shower. commute. eat. work work work eat work work work eat commute cook eat make food for the next. sleep. REPEAT hahaha
does wrapping a smoothie in tinfoil really work? i’m intrigued! i would love to start bringing a smoothie for a snack but i feel like it wouldn’t be as tasty??
I like to think it does? I make the smoothie 3-4 hours before I drink it, and it tastes just like they do when I drink them right away – yummy
