Well we officially had our first snow of the year yesterday!
Ok, so maybe it was only a dusting, but the roads were super slippery!! On the way home from running errands, we saw 4 cars in an accident, and the car behind us came thisclose to rear-ending Shane’s vehicle.
We also never made it to the bowling alley. Instead we Red Boxed it:
The Change Up was actually a pretty funny movie. And I’m a huge Jason Bateman fan, mm hmm.
Breakfast & Workout
This morning after coffee, I headed to the gym to get in a full body lifting workout. Honestly, it was kind of all over the place as far as format goes. Some sets were straight sets some were supersets, and some were circuits, but here’s the exercises I performed:
Dynamic warm up for upper and lower body, then…
- Overhead squats
- Leg press
- Inverted row
- Bench jumps
- Barbell lunges
- Front squats
After stretching, this workout took almost exactly an hour.

Post-workout breakfast was a yogurt bowl:
More paleo cereal – this time it was 1/2 apple, coconut, cinnamon, pecans, and cashews all in flax milk. Mmm mm
Alongside, 2 hard boiled eggs that I definitely overcooked. Oops.
I still managed to eat them.
And now it’s time to head to the office. First time I’ll be at work all year! Have a lovely one
