Stuck in the 80’s
Last night Shane and I and another couple took to the streets for a competitive game of bowling!
I grabbed the prettiest bowling ball. See? Competitive Ok, that’s a lie. I suppose you can’t take anyone seriously who can’t break a hundred in bowling…
…or the nineties.
I don’t get it! I’m so good when we play Wii bowling! Life’s mysteries I tell ya.
My husband, on the other hand broke 200 when he bowled 5 strikes in a row!
He said he thinks he found the perfect amount of tipsiness (2.5 beers) to bowl his best game. Good to know, Shane haha!
Several games later, we worked up quite the appetite! And after going to three of our favorite restaurants only to find out that not a single sole was cooking in the city of Blo-No, threw up our hands and retreated with our go-to:
Fiesta. Where we can always “seat ourselves.” And eat chips and salsa while we wait for the waiter to take our order
All I really wanted was a water, but when Shane ordered me a margarita, I politely obliged
Then, when our meals came out, Shane and mine took up the entire table alone!!
FEAST. We both got fajitas, which consist of 4 plates a piece. I got the veggie fajitas, and ate all the veggies except for the baby carrots and celery because that just doesn’t belong in a fajita if you asked me.
After dinner, we retreated to the basement and plopped ourselves in the theatre room to watch Breaking Bad, each with our respective bowls of Ben and Jerry’s. Perfect.
Today I’ve got a make up client to train here in a bit, but I’m going to scoot on over to the gym a bit early and get a treadmill run in for fun. Kardashians are on and mindless TV always works during a T-mill run Then I think Shane and I are going to brunch!!
Have a great Sunday, friends!
Are you a good bowler?
