"I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
– Michael Jordan
When I was little, I was a huge Chicago Bulls fan. HUGE. I talked about it briefly here. Well, this season I decided I’d start paying attention again. Come to find out? I’m still a huge Bulls fan.
Just to be different, I proclaimed Kerr and Pippen as my favorites and immediately went out and bought their jerseys. But realistically, Michael Jordan was the man of my heart.
Even now I still admire him. In fact, I fully credit the quote above to some very trying times of persistency in my life. Talk about perspective! That quote, and the fact that he didn’t even make his high school basketball team alone helps me to not be a quitter.
Last night I watched the game against the Buck with Shane, and they won 107-100. And I D Rose.
Still, there will never ever ever ever be a team like the Chicago Bulls between the years of 1992 and 1996.
While Shane and I watched the game, we feasted on burgers and fries.
Burgers, baked fries, ‘n beans
This morning I woke up in time to sneak in 45 minutes of an hour spin class before training a client. And now I’m about to make a big brunch for Shane and me. I’m exciiiiited
Have a great Saturday, ya’ll
Where you a Bulls fan in the 90’s?
