Quick Hitter Full Body Workout

Hi there! I’m glad ya’ll liked this morning’s Howl-a-ween post Open-mouthed smile 

Since this morning’s post was all about the pets, I didn’t have time to get into the deets about my morning. So let’s dive right in!

Right after pressing publish on the howl-a-ween post, I mixed up some BCAA’s (branched-chain-amino-acids) and drank it on the way to the gym.

I had to be in and out of the gym in an hour because of time constraints, but knew I wanted to get in a little cardio and a little weights.

So after a dynamic warm up, I tackled weights first. I wanted to get in a good full body workout, so I went with the four most efficient and effective exercises – in my opinion, of course – to get every single muscle burning:

Go through this workout as a circuit, repeating the circuit 2 times for 3 sets of each exercise. Add bonus: each exercise requires a significant amount of core stabilization, so there’s your ab workout, too Open-mouthed smile

Once I finished this, I hopped on the treadmill to crank out 20 minutes of intervals (1 min @ 6.1, 1 @ 7.1 until reaching 20 minutes) followed by a 5 minute cool down jog.

In and out in 30 minutes!

Breakfast

Once home, I walked Niko a bit, discovered the blog was down (blast!!) talked with Bluehost, and finally sat down and ate some breakfast:

Porridge, made with a banana, 1/2 c. full fat fage, blueberries, and some sunflower seed butter.

Very delicious. Very filling Smile

I only have to work at the BIC for a few hours, so I’m sure I’ll snack on some hummus + crackers + veggies later.

  3. I love the mini kit kats. My coworkers constantly has a bag of mini candies on his desk. All. Year. Round. And he sits right next to me. The joy of Halloween candy is dead now :)

  4. I can nosh on mini snickers ALL DAY.

    And people at the office are already patrolling the break room hard core- it’s about this time that candy starts randomly showing up…

  7. My favorite candies are Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Mr. Goodbars, Krackles, and Baby Ruths. But if it has chocolate in it, I’ll eat it. It’s those hard and gummy candies I can’t stand!

  9. Mini Oh Henry bars! But I didn’t buy chocolate this year – to save myself ;) Chips and Play Doh ;)
    I need to start doing pull ups – I have never even attempted and want to try and be able to do them!

  10. Girl, we just about went through a bag each of Snickers and Reese’s PB cups..then the hubby comes home with a bag EACH Peanut M&Ms, Butterfinger, Reese’s PB Cups and Kit Kats! We had this issue last year as well — it’s called zero self control :) haha – and I don’t hate it ;)

  12. Almond Joy, Snickers and Reese’s Peanut Butter cups. Pretty much anything with coconut or peanut butter.

  13. I love twix, too! I just made and posted about homemade butterfinger bars. They are a 2nd fave. And reese’s cups and rolo’s and skittles…ok, I like it all :)
