Let’s get this party started, yo!
I picked Destiny up at the train station after I got done working at the gym yesterday and we got right down to bridal shower bonanza business. After hitting up several locales for last minute errands, we came home and chowed down and drank up!![]()
Noodles and Co – Bangkok Curry (save your money, folks, it’s not that good.)
and pinot grigio!
Where’s my pinot grigio?!
heh ![]()
Anyway, after sitting at the kitchen table with the husband for a while, chatting it up, we got down to baking business!
Well…after an impromptu song and dance hour. With pinot grigio in hand, obviously.
It’s how we roll…weirdly! I’ve never claimed to be normal ![]()
Back to the baking. Mission: gluten free cookies. The outcome?
Dee-lish-us. We used this recipe to make gluten free almond butter cookies only because I’ve made them before and know first hand that they are grade-A delicious gluten free cookies. Our gluten-free guest of honor will love them ![]()
D lives in Chicago, so we stayed up pretty late soaking up all we could of hanging out!
Not surprisingly, a coffee run was much needed this morning ![]()
A Gloria Jeans just opened in Normal, and it was my first time checking it out. I’m pretty impressed!
Do you frequent any coffee shops around your house? Which ones? I love the Coffee Hound here in the twin cities, too. Such great coffee! And obviously, Starbucks!

Well, now that we’re coffee’d it’s time for some breakfast. Pancakes for everyone!!!
Have a fantastic Saturday, friends! Lots to do around these parts ![]()

One of my best friends used to work at a Gloria Jeans when she was in high school and would go ON AND ON AND ON about how good it was. I’ve still never had it. Fail.
Have a great weekend Paige! Sounds like it has the makings for an epic one!
Looks like a fun evening: girl time, wine, baking, wine, dancing
Hahahah where’s my pinot grigio??? love it. I have a hole in the wall cafe around the corner from me and they make the best lattes…so I try to frequent them. And they have an old school frequent visitor coffee punch card…cute little things like that def make the local joints even cooler!
LOVE the pictures
You guys look like you’re having so much fun
As soon as I saw the word Pinot I thought of Ramona hahaha. The cookies look yummy! And I <3 Gloria Jeans- I haven't been to one in ages! I love a local place called Joey Bag of Donuts and of course bucks!
Looks you ladies had an awesome night! How was the wine you had?
Gloria Jean’s is pretty delicious. Their chocolate covered espresso beans are off the hook
I’ve made that recipe from clean eating mag too and they are so good! This looks like a blast of a time
Fun times! There used to be a Gloria Jean’s in the mall when I was in middle and high school. My friends and I would always get some crazy coffee drinks and feel like big shots. The place closed, but I still remember those yummy drinks!
aw you girls are so cute. random dance parties are always the way to go!
It looks like you had a blast! I love girl time, especially when it’s spent baking. I like Starbucks, and there are a ton of cute cafes around us. I still haven’t tried them all yet.
Looks like fun!
Every time I drink Pinot I think of Ramona. Too funny.
