YOUR Top Ten in 2010

Earlier this week, I wrote out a post depicting MY top ten moments in 2010, but I also wanted to do a top ten in 2010 of YOUR favorites.(Hey, the next time we can do “top ten’s ___10 isn’t for another thousand years!)

Based on comments and pageviews, these were your favorite Running Around Normal posts in 2010

Post-Workout Stretch Routine – How I stretch out my lower body. I try to do this after every single workout!

My First 10k – My very first 10k race, Libby’s Pumpkin Festival 10k

The 13.1 Club – A very proud and emotional post.

The Frank Lloyd Wright 10K – The first time I ran in the Frank Lloyd Wright 10k in Oak Park. What a fun race!

Toughen Up for a Tough Run – A random post about a tough run towards the end of my half marathon training.

The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever – Needs no explanation.

I PR’d with the Wrong Bib # – Oooops! I used my friends bib # instead of mine – and I PR’d!!

Planning a Marathon – I announced my plans for running the 2011 Chicago Marathon.

Isla Roatan: Don’t Make me Leave! – A post about a magical island…

Quarter Life Changes – Announcing my plans to quit my full time job.

Hehee! That was a fun trip down memory lane! 😀

It’s 50 degrees and pouring here. I know I slept a good nine hours, but did I travel back in time a couple months? It doesn’t rain on NYE in Illinois!! Too bad it’s slowly getting colder and down to 30 tonight – good thing I’m taking a limo out!! 😀

Anyway, I’m off to spin class! Hope I don’t get soaked!

New Year’s Eve plans? Usually we just stay in and play games with friends, but this year (the first in like…5) we’re going out!

Either way, have fun and be SAFE!

  2. I still don’t know what I’m doing for NYE yet. Probably staying in, which I prefer :)

  6. Have fun tonight! See you in the new year.

  7. Our NYE is pretty low-key. We went to visit some friends who rented a hotel room and Marcus hot-tubbed with them for a bit, next we’re off to a small fete with some friends at their place.

To clarify: I’m wearing leggings and UGGs and that’s plenty fancy for our purposes.

Happy New Year, lady! May 2011 be a happy and healthy one for you!

  8. Thanks for this post Paige: it’s a great way for me to get to know your blog better :)

I especially enjoyed the tough run post — I wish I’d read that while I was marathon training. I’ve definitely had bad runs because of a dead iPod, a leaking Camelbak, and a forgotten Garmin button..

Hope you had fun out last night, and the rain didn’t put too much of a damper on things. Happy new year — I look forward to reading about the marathon training for Chicago :)
