Giveaway Winner of 100th ish Post!

It’s time to announce the giveaway winner for my 100th-ish post giveaway!

But first, a little recap on the day’s festivities.

My day started out inevitably hectic. Although today I was able to wake up and crawl out of bed when my alarm went off, trudge upstairs to the elliptical, and then power out a 45 minute sweat sesh, I let my post-workout stretching last a wee bit too long. Ok, maybe I just wanted to watch the rest of the Real Housewives of Hotlanta that I TiVo’d.

This started a spiral of rushing around the house, and my running late. Although I didn’t have time to pack a lunch, spray on some perfume, or turn on the radio for the pets, I did have time to make a trusty Green Monster! This one was SO good.

It contained:

  • a handful of spinach
  • a half a frozen banana
  • half c. of frozen mango
  • 1 c. of oganic, skim milk
  • 1 packet of stevia
  • 1 T of flax meal
  • 2 T of coconut

I blended that sucker up, and topped it off with some wheat germ and some more unsweetened coconut. This one, my friends, is a keeper!

A while after I arrived to work, I enjoyed a bowl of Kashi Good Friends and Antioxidants:

It was a delicious combination.

Lunch came around quickly. I was busy running reports for meetings, and was feeling uninspired as far as lunch ideas go. So when my friend asked me to go to Panera, I readily agreed.

I inevitably ordered my fav – the Fuji Apple salad, and a half Mediterranian on whole grain. Much to my dismay, when they called out my name to come get my food, I noticed it had no dried apple on it :( When I questioned them, they told me they ran out, and handed me an apple. Hmph.

Oh well, I ate the meal and the apple in its entirety. I had planned on getting an oatmeal cookie to go, but fortunately forgot about it.

Right before I called it a day, I had a Tropical Fruit Tart Lara Bar.

Mmm this flavor is very nummy.

Ok, on to what we all are really here for…the Giveaway Results!

After tallying up the entries and consulting with the handy dandy random number generator, the winner is……………………………………………

ERICA H!

  1. I love the housewives – they are just unreal! I would totally workout longer to see them. HA! :-)

Great giveaway!! I've never watched any of those Housewives shows – i've heard good things! My morning routine is very much shower/teeth brush, put on clothes that are laid out, grab lunch box from fridge and go! (my routine is more at night: pack gym bag/put in car; cook all meals and put in lunch box; lay out outfit; wash hair!)

fitting – I think this is what I'm going to have to do. I need to not start out my day with stress!

I agree with getting things laid out the night before and whatever you can even put in the car. I also have my morning exercise stuff ready to go when I work mornings. And, ever since I've started reading your blog, I pack a Lara bar to go and keep a few in my office. I love the apple pie ones.

<– Big Housewives fan. Can't get enough of them crazy chicks.

I don't have a morning routine, but have been trying to change that. I really think it would help with my weight loss efforts.
I really want to be the girl that wakes up at 5am and heads to the gym. but so far, I'm NOT that girl.

  9. Your green monster sounds awesome!!!! And I love how green it is, too (I know it's called a "green monster" and is supposed to be green…but mine don't always turn out so vibrant!!)

    Congrats to Erica!!

That fuji apple salad is bomb rockin. I may have to get one while I'm home this weekend :-)

  11. Hmmm that above comment was from me, not sure why it turned up anonymous!

  12. MarathonVal says:

I love the idea of some coconut in the Green Monster – I've used coconut milk and coconut water but never the coconut itself! Love that!

I am a firm believe in laying out your clothes the night before…. a bit nerdy but it works ;)
